Southside Education Center

The Southside Education Center opened as an off-campus location in Wichita for Cowley in 1995. It is located in southeast Wichita and offers general education courses as well as some specialized programs, including computer networking technology and an interpreter training program.

They have an Academic Success Center for students which offers a variety of instructional support services including a computer lab, free tutoring, material reserves and much more. SSEC has experienced rapid enrollment growth and can boast of an above 1000 FTE every semester since 2002.

In 2008, Southside Center became a Hybrid Center for the eLearning College.
