Golden Tigers to raffle t-shirt quilt
Members of Cowley College’s Golden Tigers recently completed a
t-shirt quilt made out of different t-shirts representing Cowley College.
Participants in the class titled “Creating a T-Shirt Quilt,” cut
up t-shirts donated by Cowley College coaches and staff, and made them
into a block section. They then arranged them into a pattern, stripped
the fabric, and made a quilt.
Once the quilt is tied and completed it will be donated to the Cowley
County Relay For Life team to be raffled off. Raffle tickets can be purchased
from the Cowley College Employee Services office or from any Cowley County
Relay For Life team member. The cost is $1 per ticket or $5 for six tickets.

COWLEY COLLEGE
PARKING REGULATIONS
Beginning August 1st it will be required that Cowley College students,
faculty and staff display a valid parking registration sticker on their
vehicle while on college property.
Parking registration stickers will be available at enrollment or in the
Admissions Office. Please complete the enclosed parking registration
form and bring to enrollment so you can get your sticker at enrollment.
There will be no fee for the first sticker but additional stickers or
duplicate stickers will cost one dollar each.
Stickers should be placed on the lower right corner of your front windshield.
Class Attendance – Class attendance is not required: however, instructors work hard to prepare for these classes. Please let your instructor know if you cannot attend a class session.
New Teachers – This semester Marilyn McSpadden will be teaching quilting classes. Many thanks to all our teachers for giving their time and talent to our program.
Relay for Life – The Golden Tigers helped raise money for the Cowley College team this year. The Cowley team received the GOLD AWARD. The Board Members held a garage sale in May and a Crop for Cancer day in March to help raise funds for the relay team. Clarice Henderson, Ruth Weston and Margaret Neal participated on the Cowley Relay for Life team. Thanks so much for your support of this project.
Classes & Trips – Plans have not been finalized for all the classes and trips. Be sure to check for any changes at enrollment.
Name Change – Our name was officially changed to Cowley Golden Tigers last spring. We will be ordering shirts this fall with our new logo. Check them out at enrollment!!
ID Numbers – Cowley ID numbers have been used for several semesters. The ID number is a 999 number followed by a randomly assigned six-digit number. If you have taken classes in the last few years we will have your number available. Social Security numbers can also be used.
