EDUCATIONAL TRIPS

Thursday, February 9th – Wichita, KS
Our first trip will be to Wichita to see “Steel Magnolias” at the Crown Uptown. This show is a comedy drama featuring Southern women. It is sure to be a fun show with lots of laughs. We will depart at 10:30 a.m. and return by 5:00 p.m.  A lunch buffet at the theater is included in this trip.
Cost - $45 (includes lunch)

Thursday, March 8th – Emporia, KS
The morning will include a tour of the historic home of William Allen White and the Lyon County Historical Museum. We will then head to Olpe to the famous Chicken House for lunch. After lunch we will have a driving tour of the city with a step on guide to share information about Emporia. The last stop will include a tour of the beautiful Granada Theatre and Art Center. They will also serve an afternoon treat from the Granada Coffee Company and Sweet Granada (chocolate). We will meet at Ireland Hall and depart at 7:00 a.m. and return around 7:30 p.m. Cost - $45 (includes lunch)

Tuesday, March 27th – Bartlesville, OK
This trip will feature a great musical show that is based on the novel – “The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant” by Douglass Wallop. Some of the songs included in the show are “Those Were the Good Old Days” and “What Lola Wants”. The show is at the Bartlesville Community Center. We will meet at Ireland Hall and depart at 3:00 p.m. and return around midnight. Cost - $75.00 (includes dinner)

Thursday, April 19 – Mystery Trip
We will be traveling to an unknown destination
and visit a variety of unknown locations. So if you would like to take a chance on a fun adventure, then be sure to sign up for the annual Mystery Trip!!! Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes because you never know where the bus might take us. Plan to leave at 7:00 a.m. and return around 8:00 p.m.
Cost - $45 (includes lunch

Refunds for trips are given only for family emergency, illness or death in family. We greatly appreciate a substitute in your place if at all possible.
