Transferring Credits and Degrees
to Other Colleges

Because international students are always concerned about credits transferring to other schools (much like American students), please be aware that Cowley County Community College is fully accredited by the State of Kansas and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.

In addition, Cowley has a transfer articulation agreement with all of the Kansas Regents institutions (the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, Wichita State University, Fort Hays State University, Pittsburg State University, and Emporia State University). This means that students who graduate from Cowley with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree will be granted junior status at the four-year institution. Cowley also has such an agreement with Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
