Q: Do
I have to be enrolled in a certain
number of credit hours in order to receive a scholarship?
A: As
a general rule, you must maintain enrollment in a minimum of

available. Contact Lisa Grose at (800) 593-2222 ext. 5294 for
more details.
Q: How
will I be notified if I receive a scholarship?
A: You
will be mailed a scholarship contract. In order to accept your
scholarship, you must sign and return the contract to the Admissions
Office before June 1 for Fall scholarships or December 1 for
Spring scholarships. You will not receive the scholarship offered
to you until you sign and return the contract.
Q: What

A: Each
scholarship has different GPA requirements. Scholarship requirements
will be outlined on the scholarship contract that you will sign
to accept your scholarship.
Q: Are
scholarships available for the summer semester?
A: As
a general rule, scholarships are available only for the fall
and spring semesters.
Q: How
many semesters will I be able to use my scholarship?
A: This
information will also be outlined on your scholarship contract.
As a general rule, institutional scholarships are renewable for
a maximum of four semesters, provided you fulfill all requirements
of the scholarship each semester. Endowment scholarships may
or may not be renewable, so please read your scholarship contract
carefully.

of our scholarships specify that they cover incidental fees or
housing costs. However, if you are awarded an Endowment scholarship,
you are able to put those funds toward any expense you choose,
such as fees, housing, or tools. Also, dorm stipends are available
to eligible students.
Q: If
my scholarship covers books, am I allowed to keep them at the end
of the semester?
A: No,
our book scholarships are for book rental. Therefore, if you
wish to keep your books, you will need to purchase them.
