Mass Communications Scholarship

Financial Assistance: Books and tuition scholarships are available for qualified mass communications students.

You also are encouraged to apply for federal financial aid.

GPA Requirements: 2.5

Requirements for Mass Communications scholarship with journalism emphasis:
As a Cowley journalism student, you will have the opportunity to develop writing, design, and photography skills by serving as a staff member on the college's award-winning student newspaper.

  • A minimum of 2 mass communications classes per semester.
  • Must enroll in Newspaper Production and adhere to the GPA and hour requirements of contract.
  • Scholarship is valid only if the recipient is enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours at the Arkansas City Campus
  • On-line courses will not count as Arkansas City Campus courses.
