The Robert B. Oliver ASNT Scholarship is an annual $2,500
cash award granted to the student who submits the most outstanding paper
about NDT research, investigation or development. This award honors and
assists students who have chosen NDT as a career and are currently enrolled
in an NDT program leading to an undergraduate degree, associate degree
or post secondary certificate.
-The scholarship is awarded to the student submitting the best original
paper on nondestructive testing. The paper should cover an
original concept in NDT and may be based on practical experience, laboratory
work or library research. A maximum of three awards is presented
each year.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha Foundation Scholarship Information
- A senior high school student who will be an incoming college freshman
student with a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, OR a minimum score
of ACT 22/SAT (verbal/critical reading and math) 1030;
-A College student presently enrolled in an accredited college or university
who has maintained a “B” average (3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale)
during his/her college career;
- Enrolled for training in a technical school or any person returning
to school after an absence to retrain job skills or obtain a degree.
(Post secondary students at any educational level).
- On-line credit tuition when obtained through and Accredited College/University/Vocational
school or an accredited program by an accredited agency.
William and Gladys Krusor Scholarship
Applications deadline is April 30
A $1,000.00 annual scholarship is made in two payments
of $500.00 at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters and is intended
to assist students who have demonstrated a commitment to completing their
college education and who, without this support, could not otherwise
afford to do so. Before the scholarship is awarded, the student must
show proof of enrollment in the school of his or her choice. The scholarship
is for one year only, recipients may reapply. The selection committee
may request a personal interview with any applicant. Recipient of the
scholarship will be announced MAY
31. It is the desire of William and Gladys Krusor’s family, to
provide assistance to people whom might find themselves in a difficult situation
and unable to complete the education necessary to perhaps make a difference

Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST)

EWI is offering assistance to adults in Sedgwick, Butler, Cowley, Harvey,
Reno, and Sumner Counties who are in transitional situations and are
in need of financial aid to further their education in their career pursuit.
Scholarships are for $1,000.00. Criteria to be used to pre-screen candidates:
Financial need Socially, physically and economically disadvantaged adults
Heads of households with small children Displace homemakers Applicants
must meet the following eligibility requirements: Utilize personal assessment
and/or re-entry programs available through colleges, community agencies,
service groups, or career professionals Clearly defined career goals

Soroptimist International of Winfield, Kansas
Almedia Greever Continuing Education Scholarship
This is available to graduates from Winfield High School in Winfield,
Kansas. The applicant is required to have completed a minimum of two
semesters of college course work and carry a grade point average of at
least 2.5. This is a $500 scholarship and all applications must be postmarked
by March 25. Copies of the application can be picked up from Lisa
Grose in scholarship office.
Estelle Hamilton Gottlob Endowed Scholarship
Applicants should be Cowley College students that graduated from Arkansas
City High School and plan to transfer to Wichita State University.
Recipients must have at least a 2.75 grade point average and is renewable
automatically if maintained. Awards will be made with regard to financial
need. Applicants must complete an essay as part of the application
process. The topic is “Describe a significant challenge, opportunity,
or setback in your life and the impact it has had on you. What contribution
do you hope to make as a student at Wichita State? (Your response should
reflect your leadership abilities outside the classroom.) Please visit
with Lisa Grose in the scholarship office to receive a cover sheet
for your essay.

Army Emergency Relief Spouse and Children
Scholarship Program
Eligible applicants must be:
-Dependent children, stepchildren or legally adopted children of Army
Soldiers on active duty, retired or deceased while in active duty or
retired status. The children of Grey Area Reservists/National Guard are
eligible as retired members.
-Stateside applicants must be full time students.
-First undergraduate degrees only.
Completed applications deadline is March 1. The Student
Aid Report (SAR) must be postmarked by May 1.

Wichita Amigos de SER
Open to all Hispanics students with at least one parent being of Hispanics

$150 scholarship
Eligible applicants must be:
-Cowley County, Kansas resident - Cowley County High School Grads
wishing to enroll at CCCC or Southwestern.
-Adults, over age 21, wishing to continue their education
Deadlines: July 15 for fall semester and December 15 for spring semester
-Members of Early Bird Lions Club or their relatives will not be
considered.
In addition to completing an application, the applicant must:
-Provide an official High School transcript and College transcript, if
available.
-A resume, which should include college honors, interests, activities,
work experience, community service, and job history.
-A short written narrative describing your future career plans and how
plans relate to this application. Include your plans regarding your job
