 The Aviation Tech Center can turn you into a welding, wiring, tweaking, turning A&P technician in just 18 months. Airframe and Powerplant licensed mechanics are the cream of the crop. You'll learn hydraulics, electrical, engines, avionics, fuel sysetms, and all aircraft performance skills.

On May 1, 2008, operation of the Aviation Tech Center transferred from Cowley College to the Wichita Area Technical College (WATC).
