| The Medical Transcription Associate of
Applied Science (AAS) degree will prepare the student to enter
the workforce as an entry-level medical transcriptionist. The well-qualified
transcriptionist will also gain proficiencies in written and oral
communications, as well as word processing, spreadsheet, and database
management software programs. Students will acquire skills in proofreading,
document formatting, computations, and administrative support.
