Additional Expenses
Required Books:
Students must purchase the CDX Automotive Online Kit, which costs approximately $75.  The license is good for one year and is assessed to the student's bill.

A single text—Automotive Technology: A Systems Approach—is required for all classes in the entire program and costs approximately $160.  Including books required for related courses, the total cost for the automotive program is $473.50-$503.00, depending on availability of used texts.  For students seeking the AAS degree, the total cost (which includes general education courses) is $734.00-$850.00.

These prices are estimates, as book prices may fluctuate and instructors may request different texts.

Tools:
Students are required to pay a one-time $200 rental fee for use of tools in the automotive shop.
