Mechatronics

Mechatronics

Mechatronics will be the first and only program in the state to address the demand for specialized technicians.  Cowley College offers the certificate program and the associate degree. Mechatronics teaches the design, building and maintaining of equipment that combines electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and computer controls.

Mechatronics technicians are well paid to maintain robots, automated manufacturing equipment, cars, gas pumps, security systems, ATMs, heating and cooling systems, treatment plant equipment and medical monitors.

These specialized technicians will meet a current and future need for local and area wide manufacturers.
