Take the Fast Track to an Associate of Applied Science degree
in Nondestructive Testing

Cowley’s Nondestructive Testing program provides tremendous opportunities in safety & quality inspection. The NDT program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree that is currently in high demand.

NDT students develop the knowledge and skills required to perform sophisticated testing techniques such as eddy current, x-ray, liquid dye penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic testing that are required in many different industry fields.

Regardless of your economic and employment status, this accelerated, online program offers tremendous advantages if you are serious about earning the credentials for an excellent career.

Take Advantage of the Benefits:

Online Degree Completion
Cowley offers the only online AAS degree program for NDT in the world. Completely online course work except for the final one - two weeks for on-campus practical training.

Accelerated Program
Instead of the traditional two-year program, you can complete this degree in 16 months. Degree requires 66 credit hours that include 48 required technical hours and 18 general education hours.

Fully Accredited Degree
Cowley College and Cowley College Online is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.

Share Learning with a Cohort Group
A group of six to twelve students will start and complete the accelerated NDT program as a unit. The schedule is defined for a methodical progression through the core, technical courses for each cohort for each semester. The courses are scheduled to ensure that the program will be completed in 16 months.

Earn Competitive Credentials
Degree curriculum exceeds requirements recommended by the Society for Nondestructive Testing document TC 1-A and the National Aerospace Standard 410 for classroom training.

Get Job Ready
The AAS in NDT gives you the qualifications to provide entry-level employment skills and knowledge required by business and industry.

Learn from Excellent Instructors
Classes in Nondestructive Testing began at Cowley College in 1991. Aerospace in Kansas and refining/oil production to the south in Oklahoma created an industrial need for an NDT inspection program. Our instructors are recognized as among the best in their areas of expertise.

Flexible and Responsive Schedule
Once you are accepted you will be assigned to a cohort unit. A new cohort unit will start their accelerated program whenever the minimum requirement for the number of students enrolled is met.

Value-based Costs
Although the Accelerated NDT Degree Program is more expensive per credit hour, the convenience of taking courses online allows you to work while taking courses, and the accelerated format reduces the number of weeks it will take you to complete the program.
Cowley College's tuition base is considerably less than most academic and for-profit training institutions and financial aid is available to assist qualified students.
To figure the cost, use the applicable Cowley College tuition/fee per credit hour and add $100.00 per credit hour for this accelerated program. There is no additional tuition or fee charges for the one - two week on-campus practical training (student will be responsible for costs of travel, meals and housing.)

Open Acceptance Requirements
To be accepted in the Accelerated Degree Program for NDT, you must:
• Meet requirements to be enrolled as a student to Cowley College. Submit your admission application and enrollment forms.
