Murry Boyles

Outstanding Tiger Alumni 1990

Murry Boyles Murry Boyles, Sunnyvale, Calif., receives honors for outstanding service in the field of engineering. Since the mid 1950s, when he began working at APCO refinery in Arkansas City, Murry has advanced to several positions of major responsibility in the development of mining and metals. In 1963, he was promoted to chief engineer in charge of plant operations maintenance and new construction for American Petrofina Refining, and in 1966, he became senior engineer with Arthur G. McKee Corporation in San Francisco.

Since 1978, Murry has been with Kaiser Engineers of Oakland as Senior Project Engineer. During his career, Murry has worked in South Africa, Brazil, Peru, Lisbon, Portugal, Canada and the United States, designing processing plants and other projects.
