ERIC

The National Library of Education has organized this web site which includes access to the ERIC database through four different search engines. Two of the access points offer complete coverage from 1966 to the present and two offer coverage from 1976 to the present. All four access points offer searching of the journal abstracts (CIJE) and the document abstracts (RIE). Fulltext of the ERIC Digests can be found on two of the sites. Access to the Thesaurus of ERIC Descriptors is offered on one site.

Special features of the web site are access to the National Library of Education and the U. S. Department of Education. In addition, under Special Projects, are links to locating internet educational materials, a network or parent information, a directory of education resources, and a link to a virtual reference desk.

Under the FAQ section of the site, information is provided on how to order the fulltext of the ERIC documents or the journal articles.
