Homecoming 2002

Maggie Campbell and Carthon Diggs were crowned Homecoming Queen and King Feb. 9.

Campbell is a sophomore elementary education major from Cedar Vale and the daughter of Karen and Mike Campbell. She is a member of the Lady Tiger basketball team, is a Student Ambassador, is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Campus Christian Fellowship, and is the reigning Queen Alalah. After Cowley, she plans to continue her education at a four-year school and complete her degree in elementary education. She was nominated by women’s basketball.

Diggs is a sophomore business administration major from Wichita and graduated from West High School. He is the son of Mirchelle Collins and the grandson of Martha and Marshall Diggs. He is a member of the CC Singers, is co-vice president of Phi Beta Lambda, is a Student Ambassador, and was a member of the champion intramural softball team. After Cowley, he plans to transfer to a four-year school in Texas. He was nominated by the CC Singers.
