'And Down the Stream They Come!'
More than 400 people attended the Seventh Annual
Great Cowley Duck Dash May 15 at Spring Hill Farms northeast of Arkansas
City. Once again, the event was held under beautiful skies at the home
of Bob and Carolyn Langenwalter. Exciting duck races, great door prizes,
and a gourmet meal of mesquite prime rib and chicken breast were all
part of the festivities. More than $24,000 was raised during the event,
with proceeds going to the Endowed Scholarship Fund at the college.
