Conference in Salina February 28-March 2, 12 of Cowley College’s
17 PBL students in attendance qualified to attend the National PBL
Leadership Conference in Chicago June 23-26.
Bev Grunder, Cowley College PBL advisor, was proud of the PBL members accomplishments.
“It is a privilege serving as the Cowley PBL advisor and having the opportunity
to work with the Cowley PBL students,” Grunder said. “I am so proud
of them and their accomplishments. They are an exceptional group of students.”
Cowley College student awards include: First in Team Event Desktop Publishing,
Mallory Carroll and Lashaina Orman; Second in Team Event Management Concepts,
Alex Gottlob, Caleb DeGraaf, and Zachary Whitener; Third in Human Resource Management,
Mallory Carroll; First in Economic Analysis and Decision Making, Second in Accounting
Principles and Economic Concepts, Caleb DeGraaf; First in Computer Applications
and Second in Human Resource Management and Marketing Analysis and Decision Making,
Christopher Klingenberg; Third in Computer Applications, Emilie Magnus; Second
in Computer Applications, Megan Pauly; First in Hospitality Management, Charley
Stettler; Third in Financial Analysis and Decision Making, Kayla Strickland;
Second in Accounting Analysis and Decision Making, Kristine Thompson; Second
in Word Processing, Brittany Tucker; Third in Management Analysis and Decision
Making, Heather Voss; and Third in Business Law, Zachary Whitener.
