Aviation Technical Center receives FAA Awards
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will present
multiple awards today to Cowley College’s Aviation Technical
Center located at 7603 East Pawnee in Wichita.
The Center provides airframe and powerplant (A&P)
training to Cowley College students.
The Aviation Technical Center will receive two awards. The first is
the Diamond award of excellence for achieving 100 percent training participation
from full-time instructors and staff.
The second Diamond award is for completing the training requirements
for the gold award with diamond. In addition to the overall recognition
of the Center, instructors received the following recognition:
