James Franklin named Cowley’s Mr. Cinderfella

With 15 Cowley College male contestants competing in the 18th annual Mr. Cinderfella Pageant Thursday in the Robert Brown Theatre, sophomore James Franklin took home the coveted title.

The event raised $570, which will go towards fund-raisers for Act One and funds for next year’s Cinderfella show.

The men competed in beachwear/leisurewear, talent, and eveningwear categories.

Keeping with the tradition of Miss Kansas serving as emcee, Adrienne Rosel led the contestants through the evening. Rosel is a Liberal, Kan., native and a 2005 graduate of the University of Kansas.

The contestants were: Rusty Wallace, Julio Anthony, Neal Crouch, Cole Mills, Cameron Traxson, Joey Glenn, Devin Naccarato, Jay Crayton, Scott Olson, Caleb Brown, Alexie Smith, Andy Bonczyk, Marcus Watts, Alex Derby, and James Franklin (pictured left).
