Gackstatter to conduct Ark City Community Band

The Ark City Community Band, conducted by Cowley College director of instrumental music Gary Gackstatter and Hans Judd, will present its fourth concert summer series Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Wilson Park rotunda. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Featured songs this week will be Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag", Gustav Holst's "Song Without Words" and "At A Dixieland Jazz Funeral" by Jared Spears.

Michael Sturd will be featured on trapset on "The Ol' Soft Shoe" and "All of Me" which will also feature the trombone section.
