Cowley Instructor has song appear on music chart

Donnie Huffman, Cowley College’s Music Appreciation instructor, recently had his song “Chipping Away” appear on the Christian Country chart and “Top 80” chart.

Along with writing and performing “Chipping Away”, Huffman also recently recorded a song called “Fly on the Wind”.

Huffman and his family will be performing at 3 p.m. Sunday in Cowley College’s Earle N. Wright Community Room, located in the Brown Center. The performance will serve as part of a fundraiser to raise money to replace the roof of the Grandview Methodist Church (southeast of Ark City).
