Mu Alpha Theta inducts 33 new members
Cowley College’s Mu Alpha Theta organization
recently inducted 33 new members in a ceremony held Feb. 26 in the Earle
N. Wright Community Room.
Sue Saia, Cowley College’s vice president of student affairs, served
as the keynote speaker. April Nittler and Scott Layton, Mu Alpha Theta
co-sponsors, hosted the event.
Membership in Mu Alpha Theta is an asset to a student's record and resume.
It is a way to recognize capable math students, as well as to enhance
the mathematics instruction of the institution.
Mu Alpha Theta inductees automatically become members of Math and Science
Club, Mu Alpha Sigma Chi.
Attending the induction were, Nick Hilton, Christine Lehman, Shayla Roebuck,
Elizabeth Smith, Annette Zimmerman, Crystal Huffman, and Richard Gould.

Potter, Shawn Rau, Wendy Rosol, Kimberly Rubio, Sarah Smith, Kayla Strickland,
Kistin Tussey, Sally Wilson, and Joseph Wittman.
