Foust wins the March Student Appreciation Drawing

Whitney Foust, a sophomore from Junction City, won Cowley College’s student appreciation drawing for the month of March.   

Foust received a $60 gift certificate from Ionic Salon in Arkansas City. She is a standout player for the nationally ranked Lady Tiger softball team and is majoring in pre-med.

Foust hit a three-run homer and a grand slam in a 12-run sixth inning that lifted the Lady Tigers to a 21-5 run-rule win over Friends University on Monday. On the season, Foust is batting .362 with three home runs and 18 runs batted in.

The April gift is a “Picnic at the Beach” set, which includes beach towels, suntan lotion, and a picnic kit. Students may register one time during the month of April for the next student appreciation drawing in the Student Services office (located across from Admissions in Galle Johnson Hall).
