Final Open Mic Night held at Browns

Cowley College’s Creative Claws’ final Open Mic Night for the year was held Thursday at Brown’s. Fourteen performers presented 28 original works to a crowd of almost 50.

“It was our grandest night ever,” says sponsor Marlys Cervantes. “The student writers were wonderful, the types of works were very diverse, and the audience loved the variety of emotions presented throughout the evening.”

Creative Claws and Tyger Tawk will co-sponsor a comedy competition on Monday, April 21. Anyone interested can pick up forms in the Humanities Department or talk to Cervantes or Tom Mason.
