Jones named Cowley College's Mulvane Center Coordinator
With eight years of experience as an adjunct instructor at Cowley College,
Cynthia Jones will step into a new role as she was recently named the
school’s Mulvane Center Coordinator.
As Mulvane Center Coordinator, Jones will be responsible for the overall
operation of the Bloomenshine Center to maintain an atmosphere which
is conductive to learning. She will also coordinate recruiting, interviewing,
placement, hiring and evaluation of all adjunct faculty for the Center.
As an adjunct instructor at Cowley College, Jones taught business courses,
computer courses, Public Speaking, and Interpersonal Communications.
She also taught computer contract training for Spirit AeroSystems employees.
Jones also has work experience in corporate training and organizational
leadership.
“Cynthia brings a wealth of teaching and business experience to the Mulvane
Bloomenshine campus,” Cowley College vice president of academic affairs
Slade Griffiths said. “I am confident that she is committed to excellence
in learning and to meeting the needs of the students and community.”
Jones is looking forward to the new position.
"I have worked with different pieces of the job and look forward to putting
them all together,” Jones said. “We have a great team and I am
excited about showing all we have to offer and finding new ways to serve our
students and community. I believe the sky is the limit here."
The Bloomenshine Center offers a wide range of classes, including Allied
