T-shirt quilt raises $380 to benefit American Cancer Society

The recently raffled t-shirt quilt made by members of Cowley College’s Golden Tigers raised $380 to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The t-shirt quilt, which was made out of different t-shirts representing Cowley College, was won by Frank Arnold, Cowley College social science department instructor.
Participants in the Golden Tigers’ class titled “Creating a T-Shirt Quilt,” cut up t-shirts donated by Cowley College coaches and staff, and made them into a block section. They then arranged them into a pattern, stripped the fabric, and made a quilt.
The quilt was then tied and completed and donated to the Cowley County Relay For Life team to be raffled off.
