Cowley officially opens Westside Center in Wichita
Adding its second enrollment center in Wichita, Cowley College opened
its Westside Center on Wednesday. The Center is located at 8821 West
21 Street, Suite 400.
The building, which is 3,000 square feet, is on the southwest corner
of Tyler and 21st Street. The Center will have two employees on hand
to help students enroll for online courses and provide financial aid
information and information about courses offered at the Cowley College
campuses. They will also conduct Asset Testing and provide workshops
based upon what the need in a certain area may be.
"We're really excited to see this location open,” said Ben Schears,
Cowley College executive director of enrollment and outreach services. “It's
located at a very busy intersection so we will get great visibility. One of
the biggest benefits for the college, in addition to a boost in enrollment,
will be the ability to attract potential students to our online classes and
have a place where they can find out about taking classes on the main campus
in Ark City."
The college’s e-Learning Center opened on the east side of Wichita
last June and has online and hybrid course offerings. The e-Learning
Center is located at 4900 E. Pawnee, Suite 106.
With the opening of its Westside Center, Cowley College has two locations
in Wichita, two in Mulvane, and two in Winfield to go along with its
main campus in Arkansas City.
