Tiger baseball team nipped by Rose State 2-1

Unable to get much offense generated Thursday at Rose State College, the No. 9-ranked Cowley College baseball team lost to the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Kyle Dotson (1-3) went the first three innings on the mound for the Tigers and was charged with the loss. Justin Otto relieved Dotson on the mound and gave Cowley three solid innings of relief, while J.C. Bredengerd pitched the final two innings.

The loss ends Cowley’s five-game winning streak and drops the Tigers’ record to 8-5 on the season. Cowley will look to start a new winning streak when they play host to Northern Oklahoma College-Enid today at 2 p.m.

The Tigers are 5-0 at city Ball Park.
