Girl’s basketball day camp set for July 24-26

Young ladies entering sixth grade through incoming college freshmen can gain valuable experience at the position they will play for their team in the coming year during Cowley College’s girl’s basketball day camp held July 24-26 at W.S. Scott Auditorium in Arkansas City.

The camp is designed to not only help players learn their position, but also cover all the physical skills and moves needed. The camp will also teach a tough mental approach to the game. The three-day camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, costs only $40.

Cowley head coach Todd Clark and assistant coach Jeff Carter will conduct the camp. The duo has helped the Lady Tigers post a record of 49-15 over the past two seasons.
