Big turnout for Tigerette Danceline 20th Anniversary Celebration/ Reunion

The Cowley College Tigerette Danceline 20th Anniversary Celebration/Reunion was held on Saturday. Over 70 alumni joined the current Tigerette team in a day of celebration. 

The reunion started with a dance clinic in the morning, where Tigerettes were taught a dance routine by current coach Lindsay Sanderholm. There was a formal reception that afternoon in the Brown Center. The reception included a buffet, reunion cake, memorabilia table, and a video of Tigerette performances through the years. 

Current Tigerette instructor Lindsay Sanderholm presented former Tigerette instructor Lana Sleeper with a special "Tigerette Pioneer Award" at the reception. The award read: For your vision, inspiration, and dedication in creating and coaching the Tigerette Danceline - Lana Sleeper - 1988-1998.

That evening the alumni and current Tigerette team performed at halftime of the Cowley men's basketball game.
