Kamwa named April Student-Athlete of the Month

Bernard Kamwa, a freshman post player for the Cowley College men’s basketball team, was recently named the school’s April Student-Athlete of the Month.

Kamwa, who came to Cowley from the Cameron, appeared in 31 of the Tigers’ 34 games during his first season with the team. He came off the bench to provide valuable minutes to the squad and helped Cowley win a share of the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division title.

The Business Administration major completed 18 hours of course work during his first semester at the school. He finished the first semester with a 4.0 grade point average.
