Juden named October Student-Athlete of the Month

Recently named a finalist for Queen Alalah LXXVII, the good news keeps rolling in for Cowley College sophomore Jacey Juden as she was recently named the school’s October Student-Athlete of the Month.

Juden is a standout member of the Lady Tiger softball team. Last season, she was named the Jayhawk Conference Most Valuable Player as she went 22-5 with a 1.89 earned run average on the mound, striking out 199 batters and walking only 38. She also batted .430 with three home runs and 40 runs batted in.

The education major hopes to help lead the Lady Tiger softball team to its sixth straight conference title during the 2009 season.
