Foster parent program to hold social on Aug. 22

Please join Cowley College’s Foster Parent program as they will host a social at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 inside the Earle N. Wright Community Room located in the Brown Center.

The social will give those interested in the program an opportunity to get paired with an athlete, and will also give those currently in the program a chance to reconnect with their athlete from last year.

The Foster Parent program is designed to include student athletes from out of state in all aspects of Cowley life, thus helping them adjust to life away from home.

The friendships made through this program are priceless. The program has obvious benefits to the students, but it’s also rewarding to the foster parents.
