Tiger tennis teams get work in against NCAA Division II foes

The Cowley College women’s tennis team hosted an exhibition tennis match against NCAA Division II Abilene Christian University on Thursday. While, the Tiger men’s tennis team played an exhibition match against the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Wednesday in Tulsa, OK.

The Tiger men and women’s tennis teams will be back in action Oct. 2-4 when they take part in the ITA/Wilson Central Region Tournament played in Oklahoma City, OK.

Cowley head coach Josh Cobble was happy with his teams performances in the exhibition matches.
“We got some good matches in against some of the better Division II programs around here,” Cobble said. “Some people really picked up their play and I think we look good heading into the Region Tournament next weekend.”
