The College is a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and of the National Junior College Athletic Association. College athletes are expected to be students first, with their participation in athletics a part of a well-rounded educational experience. Their personal conduct is expected to begin the highest tradition of amateur athletics.
- The men's varsity athletic program shall include intercollegiate
baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, soccer, cross country, indoor and
outdoor track.
- The women's varsity athletic program shall include intercollegiate
volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, tennis, cross country, indoor
and outdoor track.
- Grants-in-aid shall be provided for athletes in accordance with rules as specified by the KJCCC and NJCAA. All grants must be approved by the Athletic Director and the President. Students who accept such grants will be required to abide by specific rules and regulations developed by the Athletic Department and the Jayhawk Conference.
- Playing squads designated for each sport shall be in accordance with rules as specified by the KJCCC and NJCAA.
- The maximum number of contests for the varsity athletic program, shall be in accordance with Jayhawk Conference and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) guidelines. Both playing and practice schedules must be submitted to the Athletic Director for approval. All make up dates for missed games or matches will be rescheduled according to conference guidelines and approved by the Athletic Director.
- To qualify for post season play-offs, a varsity athletic team must meet the Jayhawk Conference qualifying system.
