Getting Started

 

Tuition
Tuition and fee costs are per credit hour (practicum is 13 credit hours; the online class is 3 credit hours)

There is an added course fee of $250, an independent study contract fee of $50, and a non-refundable fee of $45 for a criminal record check (billed to your Cowley College account).

Payment (or arrangement of) must be made prior to begining the practicum and account balance must be paid in full by the end of the 16 weeks.

  • Books (required): check the bookstore for current costs and ISBN numbers

  • Medical Insurance: It is recommended that students carry medical insurance throughout the entire program. Cost will vary.
  • Computer and Internet Access: Students will need to have Internet access to perform literature searches, gain access to online journals or contact the program coordinator. Cost will vary.
  • Travel and Transportation: Students must have adequate transportation and should be aware of the costs involved in this travel. Cost will vary.
  • Meals Away from Home: This will vary for each student. Cost will vary.
  • KDHE Examination Fee: Approximately $200.00
  • NAB Examination Fee: Approximately $350.00
  • KDHE License Application Fee: Approximately $100.00
