Education—Scholarships & Financial Aid


A variety of scholarships for continuing education, some of which are specific to education majors, are available.

While Cowley College offers institutional and department scholarships, students are encouraged to consider outside resources as well. 

In addition, students should consider completing the FASFA form to determine eligibility for grants and low interest loans.  For more information regarding grants and loans, contact the Cowley College Financial Aid Office.


Note: Some of the scholarships below can be used for the Associate Degree at Cowley College while others are for the junior/senior year at the four year school.

Social Science & Education Scholarships:

Cowley Social Science & Education Scholarships
Must be seeking an Associate's Degree in a Social Science
Must maintain a 3.0 GPA
Must actively participate in a club or activity relevant to major (KNEA-SP is available for Education Majors)

Cowley Education Association (Invitation Only – Letters of invitation mailed in late April)
                Must be an Education Major
                Must have Sophomore status
                Must have accumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
                Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours


Paraprofessional Scholarship

Cowley College is offering a scholarship to Kansas residents who are currently employed as a paraprofessional in any USD in the State of Kansas and are pursuing one of the following programs of study. read more
