    Cara studied privately in acting, voice, piano, gymnastics, partnering, ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and hiphop for the majority of her life before earning her degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. There she was a member of the Kaleidoscope concert dance company for four years. She also trained under Anne Reinking and Gregory Hines at the Broadway Theatre Project, as well as spending a large amount of time at the EDGE in Los Angeles.


    Cara has professionally worked in theatre, film, theme park, and television since 1991, including 10 years in New York City for such shows as Disney's "High School Musical" and "Shrek". She began her college teaching career at Northern Oklahoma College in 2012. She joined the faculty at Cowley in the fall of 2014, where she teaches acting, portfolio, theatre practicum, theatre appreciation and public speaking as well as all the dance classes. Cara also continues to teach voice and dance at Kem's Gym and Inciardi School Dance in Ponca City, OK.
