Retirement Times Two

Dill embarks on a new venture in Hobbs, N.M., where husband Gary will serve as president of the College of the Southwest.
Dill receives a congratulatory hug from Sheree Utash, vice president of northern campuses.
Short receives a commemorative Habitat for Humanity house from Beverly Grunder, chair of the Business and Service Technology Department. Members of the department made a contribution to Short for the Habitat for Humanity.

Marilyn Dill, associate dean of curriculum and assessment, and Wayne Short, instructor in the college’s Business and Service Technology Department, are retiring after many years of service to the college.

Dill began her Cowley career as an instructor in the Business and Service Technology Department. She spent many years on the main campus, then took on the responsibility of teaching classes at Boeing in Wichita. A few years ago, she was named associate dean of instruction, and later associate dean of curriculum and assessment.

Short is retiring after nearly 10 years at Cowley. He came to the college after a lengthy career with General Electric.
