We Heard From

2000's
Amanda (Hadicke) Chaney, Class of 2005, and her husband, Matthew, live in Wichita. After Cowley. Chaney graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is currently employed as a zookeeper at the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita. Matthew is an assistant store manager for Gordman’s.

1990’s
Jake Newman, Class of 1998, and his wife, Leslie, live in Kinsley, Kan. The couple has three children, Ethan 6, Evan 4, and Ellie 1. Jake is a senior pastor at Crossroads Victory Lighthouse and also serves as a locomotive engineer with the BNSF Railway.

Shana (Biddle) McCorgary, Class of 1996, and her husband, Aaron, live in Winfield. The couple has four children, Adrian 9, Sianna 6, Seneca 5, and Ansen 21 months.

Lisa (Enfield) Locke, Class of 1995, lives in Wichita. She is employed as the Executive Director of Alumni and Annual Fund at Friends University.

Michelle (Littrell) Kelley, Class of 1993, and her husband, Patrick, Class of 1993, live in Arkansas City. Michelle was a member of the Tigerette Danceline in 1985. She is employed as Cowley College’s Student Life Administrative Assistant. The couple has six children, Kelsee, Morgan, Rylee, Jackie, Wyatt, and Georgia.

1980’s
Deeann (Cole) Goodson, Class of 1986, and her husband, Jerry Goodson, live in Arkansas City. She and her husband are both retired. The couple has two children, William (Bill), and Chad Goodson. They also have four grandchildren, Rylee 13, Tegan 10, Conner 5, and Kylar 2.

1950’s
Don Baker, Class of 1958, and his wife Gaye Nell Wells Baker, Class of 1959, live in Ft. Smith, AR. The couple has been married for 50 years and has three children. At Arkansas City Junior College, Don was a member of the Tiger football team and served as president of DECA. He went on to graduate from Emporia State University in 1960 and spent 27 years as a reserve in the National Guard. He is a retired school teacher and enjoys trout fishing in Arkansas. Gaye is employed as an office manager for Bradford Realty.

1930’s
Madge (Hill) Knox, Class of 1938, and her husband, Richard Charles, live in Green Valley, AZ. The couple are enjoying retirement.
