Ten Tenors put on spectacular performance
Playing in front of a near capacity crowd May 8 in Cowley College’s Robert Brown Theatre, the Ten Tenors gave the audience its money’s worth.
The Australian musical ensemble received two standing ovations from the crowd as they performed an eclectic repertoire of songs, ranging from classical music, show tunes, to rock and roll. The concert lasted nearly two hours.
“The audience response for the Ten Tenors was overwhelmingly appreciative,” said Cowley College coordinator to Endowment and Alumni Stephen McCann. “We were very pleased with the Ten Tenors performance.”
The Ten Tenors have been performing since 1998 and made their United States debut in 2003. The group performs close to 250 shows on five different continents each year.
They have performed at such venues as London’s Royal Albert Hall, the Sydney Opera House, The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles as well as countless other venues throughout the world. But for one night, they treated people in Cowley County to an evening they will not soon forget.
