White, Simmons Named Homecoming King and Queen

Two role models on the Cowley College campus, Anthony White
and Rosi Simmons, were named Cowley College’s Homecoming king and queen during halftime of
the Tiger men’s basketball game vs. Kansas City on Feb. 1 at W.S. Scott
Auditorium.
White is a pre-engineering major from Kansas City, KS. At Cowley, he is a member
of the Tiger men’s basketball team, is a resident assistant in the Oscar
Kimmel Dormitory, and works in Cowley’s business office. White was named
to the Dean’s Honor Roll at Cowley.
Simmons is a graduate of Ark City High School and is majoring in psychology.
Her activities at Cowley include FCA, Chi Alpha, PTK, and serving as a Cowley
Ambassador. She was also selected as the school’s October Student of the
Month.
Last year’s king and queen, Jordan Lukert and Milissa Crawford, were on
hand to pass on their crowns. Madi McGee, daughter of Brian and Jamie McGee,
and Price Allen, son of Bart and Heather Allen, handled the duties of the crown
bearers.
Queen finalists were: Rosi Simmons, Breanna Bryant, Shelby Cornejo, Katelyn Edwards,
and Molley Scanlon.
King finalists were: Anthony White, Will Austin, Clinton Meyer, Drew Palmer,
and John Ward.
