Facing No. 13-ranked Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa for the second time in four days, the No. 24-ranked Cowley College men's basketball team was more competitive than they were in their season-opening loss on Wednesday. However, the Tigers were unable to earn the split of the two games as they suffered a 101-91 loss Saturday inside W.S. Scott Auditorium. read more

Serving as a team leader on two incredibly successful Cowley College men's basketball teams, former All-American Jack Crowder has been selected for induction into the Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame ceremonies will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2021. read more
Scott Hennessey, who helped the Cowley College baseball team to back-to-back Junior College World Series titles in 1997 and 1998, has continued to have great success as the manager of the Tulsa Drillers and recently spent the 2020 baseball season as a special assistant with the World Series winning Los Angeles Dodgers. Hennessey will return to Cowley College on Saturday, February 6 to be inducted into the Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame. read more

In only its third year of existence, the Cowley College wrestling team achieved a top-15 national ranking and captured the Jayhawk Conference title by going unbeaten at the Jayhawk Duals. The Cowley College Board of Trustees appointed Gary Wilson to assume the duties of Chair of the Board during Tuesday night’s meeting held in the Earle N. Wright Community Room following a tie vote and a resultant coin-flip. Wilson was elected to serve a 4-year term on the Board of Trustees, starting in January 2018. His current term expires in January 2022. read more

Through the work of Phi Theta Kappa students, Cowley College offered a weekly shuttle to Wal-Mart for students as a pilot program in November 2020. The free shuttle took students from the main campus in Arkansas City to Wal-Mart and gave them time to shop for groceries and essential items. There were 10 participants for the first shuttle on Friday, November 13, and 11 participants for the second shuttle on Thursday, November 19. read more
A trio of Cowley College athletes opened the 2021 indoor track and field season by competing at the Highland Multis held Friday and Saturday in Highland, KS. Sophomore Taylor Meinen won the women's pentathlon by scoring 2,072 points in her five events. read more
