It’s never too late to get that college education

Make your New Year’s resolution to start or finish your education in 2006. With over 68 majors and degree possibilities, Cowley is a great choice for both traditional and nontraditional students.

At Cowley, students can choose from degrees to transfer to four-year colleges and universities, or hands-on programs with up to date training for quick-entry into the workforce.

There are a variety of ways to attend classes: traditional campus classes, online, evening, or distance education courses. Classes start Jan. 17, and admissions representatives are available to advise and enroll for spring and summer classes.

Cowley College’s main campus is located at 125 South Second Street in Arkansas City. Representatives are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Cowley also offers classes at its Southside Education Center and Aviation Tech Center in Wichita, and has classroom buildings in Mulvane and Winfield.

Federal aid is accepted through FASFA, and Cowley is approved for Veteran’s Administration Educational Benefits. Support is also offered for returning adult students through the Returning Student Organization. Both full and part-time students are welcome members and meet once or twice a month to discuss concerns or problems.

The college will reopen on Jan. 3 for students to enroll and speak with financial aid.
