Tickets on sale for Cowley’s spring play “Moon Over Buffalo”

Tickets for Cowley College’s spring play “Moon Over Buffalo” by Ken Ludwig will go on sale Wednesday in the Humanities office. The phone number for the Humanities office is (620) 441-5252. The play will take place March 1-3 in the Robert Brown Theatre at 7:30 p.m.

“This is a wonderful play written by a master of comedy in Ken Ludwig, who is second only to Neil Simon,” Cowley director of theatre Scott MacLaughlin said. “It should be a great night out.”

Tickets will also be sold at the Cowley Box Office beginning next week. The Box Office is located in the Brown Center Foyer and will be open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number for the Box Office is (620) 441-5570. Tickets for the play are $8, while dinner and show tickets will sell for $15. Dinner will be served March 2 and March 3, dinner reservations must be made to the Cowley Box Office before Feb. 28.

This hilarious comedy centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of repertory theatre in 1950's Buffalo. The couple has just lost their last chance at stardom--leads in a Frank Capra movie.
The plot is full of misunderstandings, misplaced affections, and missing persons. Moon Over Buffalo premiered on Broadway with Carol Burnett.
