Cowley Idol to be held March 14

The fifth Annual Cowley Idol will be held at 7 p.m. March 14 inside Cowley College’s Robert Brown Theatre. Entry forms are due by March 12.

The Cowley Idol is Cowley’s version of American Idol as contestants battle for the title. The contestants each get an opportunity to sing parts of two songs and then the top-three finalists sing one final song of their choice in its entirety.

The cost of admission is $1. Money raised will be donated to the Shanks Family/Jodi Sanderholm Memorial Scholarship.

In conjunction with Cowley Idol, PAWS is sponsoring a game.

Four lucky people will get a chance to win $100!! It is called “Know the Facts”.

Every person that arrives to Cowley Idol by 7 PM can put their name in for a chance to be one of the lucky four contestants chosen to go on stage and answer questions.

Contestants will be called on stage between rounds of Cowley Idol. All questions will be taken from informational brochures that are available in the cafeteria during the lunch period on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All questions will be true/false or multiple choice. Each contestant will be asked 10 questions. Each correct question is worth $10.
