Cowley Film Club to hold Film Festival and Costume Ball on May 1


The newly formed Cowley College Film Club will hold a Film Festival and Costume Ball on May 1. The Film Festival will begin at 7 p.m. in the Robert Brown Theatre with the Costume Ball to follow in the Earle N. Wright Community Room.

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best commercial/public service announcement, best club film, best short film, and best feature film.

Registration packets and entry forms can be picked up from Social Science Department instructor/Cowley Film Club sponsor Chris Mayer, or Cowley Film Club president Matt Mendoza.

Entries need to be turned in to Cowley’s Social Science Department by April 17. The cost is $3 to attend the Film Festival or Costume Ball, or $5 to attend both events.
