Cowley's Community Enrollment Day a success

Cowley's Community Enrollment Day a successConducting its first ever Community Enrollment Day, Cowley College visited with over 100 new and returning students Thursday at the Nelson Student Center and the Underground on Cowley’s Arkansas City campus.

Many of the students that took part in the Community Enrollment Day enrolled for summer or fall classes.

“I thought it was very successful and something we should try to do again next year,” Cowley’s Dean of Enrollment and Retention Services Pam Doyle said. “It was a great day to meet students and members of the community. Seeing all the people from around campus come together to make it happen was great.”

Members of Cowley’s admissions department, financial aid, scholarships, student life, campus housing, and more were on hand to answer questions.

Food was provided, while KSOK radio conducted a live remote from the event. Several prizes were awarded, including five $100 tuition vouchers. Winners of the tuition vouchers were, Anna Nunn, Randy Morse, Kathy Moon, Bass Bevis, and Linda K. Jones.
