Former national champion football player to speak at youth rally


Aaron Davis, who won a national championship as a member of the University of Nebraska football team, will be the featured speaker at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes/Campus Christian Fellowship youth rally held Sept. 20 in Cowley College’s Robert Brown Theatre. Davis will take the stage at 7 p.m.

Davis is known as “The Enthusiator” because of his contagious enthusiasm to equip others to perform like champions. His powerful and high-energy presentations are interactive and fresh. All area youth and young adults are encouraged to attend the event.

“I’m fired up for the event and look forward to seeing what God will do to the youth in our area,” Cowley College Campus Christian Fellowship Sponsor Ben Schears said. “We truly hope this rally will get the youth and young adults on fire for Christ and do a great work in their hearts.”

Davis’ past experience as a national champion football player has equipped him with first hand knowledge of how to achieve incredible results.

As a speaker, author and seminar leader he has delivered hundred’s of presentations at various conferences, meetings and seminars across the nation.

As a seminar leader for the University of Nebraska’s Corporate Manager Certification program, he has served clients in various sectors and levels of industry including: Government, Agriculture, Medical, Mortgage, Sales, Insurance, Banking, Education (Colleges & High Schools).

The event is being sponsored in part by Cowley College’s Campus Christian Fellowship, and Arkansas City High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It is also being sponsored by the following local churches: New Life Fellowship, Mt. Zion Community Church, Random Road Chapel, New Hope Assembly, First Southern Baptist, Gateway Prayer House, First Presbyterian Church, and First Intermark Corporation.
