Cowley signs articulation agreement with Pittsburg State

Cowley College and Pittsburg State University are making it easier for community college graduates to earn four-year degrees.

Pittsburg State University and Cowley College officials recently signed an articulation agreement making it possible for Cowley College graduates with an associate of applied science degree to enter PSU's Bachelor of Applied Science degree programs as juniors.

President of Pittsburg State University Tom Bryant and President of Cowley College Dr. Pat McAtee signed the articulation agreement at the Kansas Board of Regents on the PSU campus.

“We are interested in forming any partnerships that are in the best interest of our students,” McAtee said.

Called the AAS to BAS Pathway Program, the agreement aligns Cowley College’s associate of applied science degrees with bachelor of applied science degrees offered in PSU's College of Technology.
